Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School,
Whether you are a returning Catholic to Sacred Heart Church, a newcomer to Conroe, Montgomery, Willis, The Woodlands or the greater Montgomery County area or someone with an emerging interest in the Catholic faith, I and all the parishioners and school families of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish welcome you to our home where we have been serving for close to 100 years. Since the days of the first Masses in the original church, and continuing through the current changes in Phase I and II of Sacred Heart Parish’s Master Plan, the people of faith have gathered together for prayer, faith formation, worship, service to the poor and fellowship. As a parish community, some of our proudest moments come through the children served through our religious education programs and our school creating the next generation of Catholics to serve here locally and to share the message of Christ throughout the world.
Sacred Heart Catholic School, a private, Catholic school founded in 1958, serves families from Montgomery, Grimes and Walker Counties in Texas. We welcome families of all faiths and currently have students enrolled from Conroe, Willis, The Woodlands and Montgomery. Our school is accredited by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, AdvancED, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Texas Catholic Conference Education Department, and has various programs including STEM based project learning and powerful respect for spirituality. We are proud to serve children from 18 months to 4 years old in our Mother's Day Out program and Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade on our main school campus located in Conroe, Texas. Most importantly, Sacred Heart Catholic School commits to teach as Jesus did; instilling a love of our Catholic faith and love of neighbor. Sacred Heart Catholic School creates a caring, respectful environment which promotes academic excellence, develops responsible citizenship and fosters life-long learning. The school strives to reach each child through an engaging environment filled with hands on teaching and a true compassion for life. Instilling a love for God, the teachings of Jesus and a true passion for learning are the most important lessons we can share with our children.
